IT Strategy The issue: A Swiss mental healthcare institution organized as a network composed of many services providers in the market were experiencing difficulties in creating a shared vision between medical and back office staff. Patients’ medical, administrative and economic data were not consolidated. This caused administrative burdens and bother for Patients. What we did: Pioneers designed the blueprint
of a new information system
which effectively reconciled medical,
administrative and economic data
around the “path” of the patient
through the network of care units. On
the basis of this study, our consultants The results: The institution got an information system that effectively integrated care and management processes bringing together medical, economic and administrative data. It clearly helped medical staff, back office and management personnel to better understanding of each other and work together with a focus on the patients. By providing a consolidated view of the patients’ medical and economic data, our customer was able to increase patients’ satisfaction. It helped to create new adapted, personalized and economy care programs. It also helped to manage the “patient’s history” as well as its reception, the management of the institution and the financial bottom line. |
