The institution had experienced a rapid expansion of its geographical and service market. This growth was spontaneous whilst more intense competition developed in some areas of activities and state pressure in others. What we did: Pioneers assisted the top management of this mental health institution in analyzing their environment, identifying what the population required from them and which forces where determinant in their growth. We helped them identify their strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats and to review both competition and cooperation. This analysis led to a new positioning, the formulation of a Mission and Vision, the definition of strategic development axis, the setting of objectives and of an action plan.
